Hip-hop classics on the links for the next two weeks I’ve just decided. Oh it’s gonna be off the hizzook (editor’s note: don’t do that again).

Number one link today, Silence in C Minor has its first podcast/online radio webisode thingy up right now and you can download it from this very site. Mucho funnio and worth any time you can give.

Here’s last week’s AV Club comic panel.

Hackers are taking on the sheer, money-grabbing evil that is Scientology!! Power to the keyboard!

The heels cause pain but apparently it’s all worth it.

It seems agreed, Morrissey’s new best of is average.

No Country For Old Men won the Producer’s Award too. Oscar bets on that one looking good now.

I’m still not sold on an Arrested Development movie…

Sasha Frere-Jones offers his thoughts on Mary J Blige.

Salon discusses the fifth episode of The Wire’s fifth season.

Could the writer’s strike be ending??

PopMatters pays tribute to the modernist love songs of Sir Nick of Cave.

Giants rule!!! I hate American ‘Football’ but damn it if I don’t love the underdog winning. Slate explores the victory of the New York Giants.

Finally, no link here, but let’s all send love to Betty who is over the Atlantic somewhere right now and who I miss very much.
